Goddess Guidance ~ Bast

IMG_1898Most Mondays, I love to pull a card, just for YOU!  Todays Goddess Guidance card is from Doreen Virtue’s Goddess Guidance Oracle Card deck.  They are simply amazing and I love them so much!

This morning, BAST is calling to you…INDEPENDENT ~ “YOUR INDEPENDENCE IS A FOUNDATION FOR YOUR STRENGTH AND SUCCESS.”

Message from Bast:  “Like the cat, you’re fiercely independent, yet you also need affection and playful companions.  Now is the time to balance your social interactions with solitude.  While you may ask others for their opinions ultimately you must make your own decisions.   Your freedom and independence are top priorities, so ensure that these characteristics are nurtured.”

  • Spend time alone
  • Give yourself permission to play
  • Ask for your needs to be met
  • Make your own decisions

Goodbye May – Hello June!

Goodbye May, Hello JUNE!

Summer SolsticeI have a thing for June, I love the crisp nights and warm days. I love the blooming and the fresh start that so much of mother earth demonstrates — it’s a time of divine birth.

Before I let you all know what’s in-store for beautiful June, I wanted to take a minute to express my gratitude.

I have been filled to the brim with all the good vibes over the past month — and it is because of your unwavering support in what I do a I have the privilege to walk this path along side of you; holding the space for you to simply show up and be your human self.

THANK YOU from the deepest place in my heart for showing up and doing your work. for staying unwaveringly true to your growth and (of course) for allowing me to bare witness.

I’m also please and excited to announce that I am joining up with the Soul Center in Red Deer, AB for many of my classes and workshops.

We’ve a big month ahead of us, energetically wise with the New Moon on Sunday, June 5th, a Full Moon and Summer Solstice on June 20th!  A rare ocurrance and some amazing energy for you to work with!

The New Moon marks the beginning of a new cycle, a fresh start.  During this time of the Moon is empty and receptive, full of potential.  This is an optimum time to plant seeds of intention for what you wish to manifest.  The theme for June is ADAPTABILITY!  This includes acceptance, adjustment, choice, resilience and flexibility. Some good lessons me me as well, in this time of change

The Full Moon is all about releasing what no longer works for you.  A fire burning ceremony is wonderful for this.

Most of us, live our lives so disconnected from the Earth, and devoid of any kind of ritual that creates the space for us to connect. So the New Moon provides us with an opportunity to take the time to create SACRED SPACE for ourselves. For me, it’s essential.

A Solstice Full Moon Ritual

What does it mean for the Full Moon to fall on the day of the Summer Solstice? This is rare, and I believe this is a grand portal of energy, space, and opportunity, opening for you to connect with your deepest sense of Source or God to ask the big questions about your life. Step out in faith, and imagine what is fully possible for yourself in 2016. Dream an expansive vision for your life which, as the darkness slowly returns, can be harvested come autumn to sustain you through the ever shortening days. Use this powerful portal to let go of fears, doubts, and insecurities. Release anger and sadness to the Solstice fires as the full moon energy calls for completion.  Here are some simple tips for a powerful Solstice ritual you can do alone or with a group:

  • Smudge, and open your circle.
  • Anoint yourself with with Essential Oils, or another ritual blend of summer herbs such as orange, sunflower, cinnamon, clove, cardamom, and angelica root.
  • Light your Summer Solstice, or Full Moon Candle.
  • Visualize yourself crossing a bridge – the land you leave on one side is what has already been. The land you approach is all that awaits you. The bridge is all that is right now.
  • Ask yourself: What does your future look like? Who are you taking with you into the months ahead? Who or what are you leaving behind? What new opportunities, experiences, jobs, and connections do you wish to experience?
  • Visualize what might come to pass as you gaze into your candle’s flame.
  • Ask the Universe to bring your dreams to life, for the Highest Good of all. Claim balance and alignment on this midway holiday.
  • Close your ritual and circle with the  affirmation “Amen, Aho, and So it is.”

This is a great night to divine what lies ahead in the year for you. Read your tarot, scry in your spheres and mirrors, ask of your pendulum, and see what insight comes to you. Set your intentions on your summer altar,to see your dreams come to fruition as the sun begins his journey south. (Source of the Summer Solstice Article:  Sagegoddess.com)

You are whole. You are powerful. You are divine.

When you read these words do you feel the truth of them ringing in your bones?

Or do you feel the muffling weight of self-judgment and self-doubt, the deep-marrow fear of not being good enough, and the exhaustion of seeking your value outside of yourself?

If you don’t love and honor yourself with every fiber of your being, if you could use more joyful play and simple presence in your life, if you struggle with owning your power and passion, then it is time for an inner revolution. It is time to claim your Warrior Goddess energy.

If you feel overwhelmed by your crazy life or judge yourself for falling short of perfection, you’ve probably learned to be your own worst critic rather than your own best friend. Warrior Goddess Workshops and classes will share the antidote to the flawed idea that you are not enough. Direct, honest, and unapologetic, Warrior Goddess Workshops and classes will show you how to release the layers of expectations to finally see yourself for the authentic, perceptive, perfect woman you really are.

On Thursday, July 7th from 6:30pm – 9:30pm join me!

In this disconnected, busy, scattered world we find ourselves in it is vital for us to go back to our roots and find new stable ground. We need each other to support our heart’s calling and a tribe to honor our soul’s longing for connection. We need to be held, mirrored, and guided by beings who are on the same path, who speak the same language. The more challenging your work, home, and inner life, the more important this circle of support is.

New Moon Bath Ritual

At the new moon, our body’s capacity for detoxification is at its highest.
Himalayan salt is the salt of choice for these baths. Not only is it the purest salt available but it also contains 84 elements and minerals that occur naturally in the ocean and earth.  The salt retains the memory of the earth. Just as the ocean reacts to the cycles of the moon, the potency of the salt also reacts to the moon phases.

How To Be A New Moon Bathing Goddess:

  1. Fill the tub with about 3 inches of hot water.
  2. Add 2.5 lbs. of Himalayan Salt to the tub to dissolve. You can swish it around to help it along. I put it in the spice grinder to expedite things.
  3. If you live close to nature, keep the window open so you can hear the wind, rain, owls, crickets, etc. Or, play some soothing music.
  4. While you are waiting for the salt to dissolve, dry brush your skin.
  5. Once the salt is dissolved, finish filling the tub with very warm — but not hot — water. It should be slightly above body temperature {about 97 degrees F}.
  6. Say a prayer or blessing if you’d like.
  7. Bathe for 20-30 minutes, trying to keep as much of your body submerged as possible.
  8. Use this time to dream and envision what you want to manifest during the next 28 days.
  9. Don’t rinse OR towel off! And don’t apply any lotion, cream, oil or deodorant afterwards. Simply allow your body to breathe and air dry.
  10. Rest comfortably for 30 minutes afterwards. {Please know that you may feel slightly lightheaded from the detox affect.}

A Few Extra Tips:

  • A candle at the foot of the bath helps clear the mind and focus intentions. It is said that combining energies like fire, water, earth and air can be spiritually cleansing.
  • Don’t add any thing else to the bath water. This is not a typical ‘bath’ bath, so shower first if needed.
  • Drink water before, during, and after the bath, to help your body release toxins.

I always love to share me knowledge with those beautiful souls wishing to support themselves on their Healing Journey!  It has been amazing, thank you to all of you who have made this possible, as I, the teacher learn just as much from those who bless me in coming to my classes as they learn from me.  What a wonderful exchange of energy.

Own your Light, Lead from Spirit, Widen Your Impact

Cynthia has been the “Soul” owner of Essential Energy Healing here in the Lacombe area for the past 10 years

Why do I do what I do?

I love to serve women who are ready to discover greater self- awareness, a deeper spiritual connection, emotional healing, authentic creative expression and to live a meaningful and passionate life as they age with grace, wisdom and vibrancy.

My practice is grounded in the pursuit of balance between mind, body, and soul, as I fully believe in the power of self-healing.

I work with women who are ready to commit to doing the sometimes difficult, always rewarding work of creating the life they desire. Whether it’s navigating transition (divorce; career change; getting older); personal development (including emotional, mental, and spiritual growth); and stress management, I will whole heartedly walk with you every step of the way until you have achieved that which you desire.

The reason why I do what I do is that I come from a place of transition myself… high anxiety, anger, and two Auto-Immune di-eases (Lupus and Celiac). I learned that you had to work hard for everything, that life was a struggle and that you had to earn your worth at every turn.  But that it not Truth!  Life does not have to be a daily struggle and through balancing the mind, body and soul with self-healing, self-care and knowledge you can stand in your power!

Sending you love and light
Breathe…Be Healthy, Be Happy…
